GUIDE

How STAND works

Everything a member does on STAND, step by step: where each thing is in the app, what the rules are, and why they exist.

In this guide, Settings means the gear icon at the top right of your profile on the ME tab. Settings has three tabs: ACCOUNT, STAND and MORE.

01

What STAND is

STAND is a social ranking network for adults (18+), built around one question: where do you stand? Every member has a public profile and a place in the rankings of their district, city, country and the world.

Men's profiles are on the SWAY track and women's profiles on the AURA track. The two tracks are separate rankings and never merge into one score. Every member also has a Level from F to S that shows where their SWAY or AURA places them.

STAND is an iPhone app. This website is its public, read-only face: anyone can look at rankings and public profiles here, but there is no sign-in, messaging, rating, AURA, following or purchase on the web.

02

Getting in: Sign in with Apple only

You join and sign in with Sign in with Apple only. There is no email, phone number or password sign-up. Hide My Email works.

To create an account, tap CREATE ACCOUNT on the sign-in screen (or JOIN STAND on HOME). Enter your first and last name, choose your country, city and district, choose your gender, confirm that you are 18 or older, then continue with Apple.

Your gender sets your track: men are on SWAY, women on AURA. It cannot be changed later. Your username is created for you, and you can change it in Settings.

Next you can add your Circles and create your AI first impression. Both are optional and can be skipped.

Without an account you can still browse HOME, EXPLORE, WORLD, the rankings, public profiles and Moments. Messaging, rating, AURA, following and reporting need an account.

03

Finding your way

The bar at the bottom of the app has five icons, from left to right: HOME (Moments, your standing, Today on STAND and your Circles), EXPLORE (search, and the F–S Level ladder with posts from each Level), WORLD (a map of members by city or district), MESSAGES and ME (your own profile).

Settings opens from the gear icon at the top right of your profile on the ME tab. It has three tabs: ACCOUNT, STAND and MORE. The paths in this guide start there.

Your notifications are under the bell at the top right of HOME.

04

Your profile and photo

Your profile shows your photo, name, Level, SWAY or AURA, rank, followers and scores, and four tabs: POSTS, RATINGS, STANDING and CIRCLES.

To change your photo, bio, country, city, district, profession, birth date or interests, go to Settings → ACCOUNT → EDIT PROFILE and tap SAVE. Your name and username have their own rows in the ACCOUNT tab.

Your profile photo is the only picture you choose from your photo library. The photo you use for your AI first impression becomes your profile photo as well.

Profiles are public: anyone can see them in the app and on standrank.com. There is no private-account mode.

05

Posts and Moments: real, from the STAND camera

Posts and Moments are photos and videos you take with the STAND camera inside the app. They cannot be uploaded from your photo library. The same applies to photos and videos in messages and to identity verification. The only exception is your profile photo.

Posts stay on your profile. Create one from the + tile on the POSTS tab of your profile: tap for a photo or hold for a video (up to 37 seconds), add text or a sticker, tag one of your Circles if you like, then tap SHARE. SAVE keeps it as a private draft that you can reopen from the camera.

Moments are short-lived: each one is live for one hour. Create one from the + card at the start of the MOMENTS row on HOME. You can share up to 37 Moments in 24 hours, and a Moment video can be up to 37 seconds. Anyone can watch Moments; women's Moments show an AURA button.

To hide a post or remove a Moment, go to Settings → STAND → POSTS or Settings → STAND → MOMENTS, tap it, then tap HIDE or REMOVE. A hidden post can be shown again; a removed Moment is gone for good. A profile can show up to 137 posts.

06

SWAY, AURA and Levels

SWAY is the track of men's profiles. SWAY grows through SWAY packages bought in the app (50, 250, 1,000 or 5,000 SWAY): Settings → STAND → LEVEL UP. Apple handles every payment and refund, and the App Store shows the prices.

AURA is the track of women's profiles. AURA is recognition that members send to women, from the AURA button on her profile or her Moments. Every member has a daily AURA allowance that grows with their Level, from 9 a day at F to 33 at S. AURA cannot be bought.

Levels go from F to S. Men are placed by SWAY among men, and women by AURA among women. S is the top 0.1%, A the top 1%, B the top 5%, C the top 15%, D the top 30%, and E everyone else who has entered. You stay at F until you enter the ranking: 50 SWAY for men, the first AURA for women. Ratings do not change your Level.

A rise counts at once; a drop waits 24 hours after your last rise. Your Level sets who you can follow and message, and how much AURA and how many anonymous messages you can send each day. Details: Settings → STAND → LEVELS.

07

Rankings and WORLD

There are rankings for your district, your city, your country and the whole world, separately for SWAY and AURA. Open them from your rank on your profile or from HOME. They are also public on standrank.com.

STAND does not use GPS and never asks for your location. Your place is the country, city and district you chose. To change it, go to Settings → ACCOUNT → EDIT PROFILE, set COUNTRY, CITY and DISTRICT, and tap SAVE.

WORLD shows members as pins at the city or district they chose, never at an exact address.

08

Following and followers

You can follow members whose Level is higher than yours: tap FOLLOW on their profile. Tap FOLLOWING to unfollow.

To see your followers, tap the FOLLOWERS number on your profile (ME tab). To see who you follow, tap the FOLLOWING number under it. Only you can see who you follow; other members see only your follower count.

If you reach the Level of someone you follow, the follow pauses instead of disappearing, and it counts again when they rise above you.

09

Messages

You can start a conversation with members at your Level or below: open their profile, tap Message, then choose As yourself or Anonymous. Anyone can reply to a message they received, whatever their Level.

An anonymous message shows you as “Anonymous · #number”. Your daily allowance of new anonymous conversations grows with your Level, members can turn anonymous messages off, and an anonymous sender can send photos or video only after the other person replies.

Photos and videos in chat come from the STAND camera. For a voice note, hold the microphone (up to 60 seconds). Screenshots and screen recordings of conversations are blocked.

To lock Messages with Face ID: Settings → MORE → PRIVACY & DATA → PROTECT MESSAGES WITH FACE ID. Swipe left on a conversation to mute it or delete it from your inbox.

10

Ratings and comments

To rate someone, tap Rate on their profile and set all four scores. Men are rated on charisma, confidence, success and style; women on allure, confidence, success and style.

Each member can rate a profile once, and a rating cannot be changed. Every score has to be within 1 point of that profile's current score, and a profile's scores are the average of its ratings.

A rating without a comment is anonymous: only the rater's Level is shown. A rating with a comment is public and shows the rater's name; the app tells you before you send it. Comments are checked automatically before they appear.

Your ratings and comments are on the RATINGS tab of your profile, together with your AI first impression. standrank.com never shows who rated whom.

11

Circles

Circles are the company, university, school, sports club, community, association, club or professional network you belong to. You can have one of each type, eight in total. Circles do not change your score.

HOME shows what happened in your Circles during the last week, and every Circle has its own page with members, SWAY and AURA rankings and posts. When you share a post you can tag it with one of your Circles.

To leave a Circle, open it and tap LEAVE CIRCLE, or remove it in Settings → ACCOUNT → YOUR CIRCLES.

STEP BY STEP

  1. 1Go to Settings → ACCOUNT → YOUR CIRCLES and tap + at the top right. You can also start from the CIRCLES tab of your profile or ADD A CIRCLE on HOME.
  2. 2Choose the circle type, for example Company or University.
  3. 3Search by name and tap your circle. If it is not on STAND yet, type its name and tap Add “name” as a new circle.

12

STANDING

STANDING is the living record on your profile, not a score. It gathers the moments that shape where you stand: joining STAND, Level changes, follower and AURA milestones.

If you allow STAND AI, STAND can suggest entries from your posts, such as travel, graduation or a new job. A suggestion appears on your STANDING tab with ADD TO STANDING or NOT THIS TIME.

To hide an entry, go to Settings → STAND → STANDING and switch it to HIDDEN.

13

Identity verification

Verification is optional: Settings → ACCOUNT → VERIFY YOUR PROFILE. You photograph your passport, ID card or driver's license and take a live selfie, both with the STAND camera.

A person on the STAND team reviews them; it is not an automatic ID service or KYC. The files are kept in private storage and deleted after the decision. A verified profile shows a blue check next to the name.

Verification does not change your Level, SWAY, AURA or rank.

14

Reporting and blocking

Every profile, post, Moment, comment and conversation has a ⋯ menu with Report and Block. Reasons include a fake profile, inappropriate content, harassment, someone under 18, and spam or scams. The STAND team reviews every report.

Blocking stops messages, ratings, AURA and following between you, and hides Moments in both directions. Their profile stays visible. Your blocked list is in Settings → MORE → BLOCKED, where you can also unblock.

STAND has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive members. The rules are in the Community Guidelines.

15

Everything in Settings

Top of Settings: your Level, rank, score and follower count, and today's AURA and anonymous message allowances. Tap any of them for details.

ACCOUNT: NAME, USERNAME, EDIT PROFILE (photo, bio, place, profession, birth date, interests), YOUR CIRCLES, STAND FIRST IMPRESSION, VERIFY YOUR PROFILE and STAND RULES.

STAND: POSTS, MOMENTS, STANDING, LEVELS, MESSAGE ACCESS, SENT AURA, RECEIVED AURA (women) and LEVEL UP (men; SWAY packages).

MORE: LANGUAGE (nine languages), NOTIFICATIONS, PRIVACY & DATA, BLOCKED, PERMISSIONS, SUPPORT, ABOUT, the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and Community Guidelines, SIGN OUT, FREEZE ACCOUNT and DELETE ACCOUNT.

In NOTIFICATIONS you choose alerts for messages, social activity (follows, AURA, ratings, comments), Level changes and STANDING.

16

Privacy, data and AI

STAND AI uses OpenAI, and only with your permission. It writes your optional first impression from the photo you choose, suggests STANDING entries from your posts, and checks comments for safety. Your email and username are never sent.

To switch it off or on: Settings → MORE → PRIVACY & DATA → ALLOW STAND AI (OPENAI). You can use STAND without it; rating comments need it.

Messages are private to the people in the conversation, chat media is stored privately, and identity documents are deleted after review. The full details are in the Privacy Policy.

17

Freeze or delete your account

Freezing is a break: Settings → MORE → FREEZE ACCOUNT. Your profile and content disappear from STAND until you come back. To return, sign in with Apple again and tap REACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT.

Deleting closes and anonymizes your account. Your photos, posts, Moments and the media you sent are deleted, the ratings you gave, the AURA you sent, your follows and your Circles are removed, and STAND's Sign in with Apple access is revoked. It cannot be undone. Messages the other person already received stay in their conversation.

STEP BY STEP

  1. 1Open Settings → MORE → DELETE ACCOUNT.
  2. 2Confirm DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT, then tap PERMANENTLY DELETE.
  3. 3If STAND asks, confirm with Apple.

QUICK ANSWERS

How do I delete my STAND account?

Go to Settings → MORE → DELETE ACCOUNT, confirm, then tap PERMANENTLY DELETE (and confirm with Apple if asked). Settings is the gear at the top right of your profile on the ME tab. Deleting is permanent; to take a break instead, use FREEZE ACCOUNT.

How do I add a Circle?

Go to Settings → ACCOUNT → YOUR CIRCLES, tap +, choose the type, search by name and tap your circle. If it is not on STAND yet, add it as a new circle.

Where do I see my followers?

Tap the FOLLOWERS number on your profile (ME tab). The FOLLOWING number under it shows who you follow, and only you can see that list.

Why can I only sign in with Apple?

One person, one account: each Apple ID gets one STAND account, and Apple has confirmed a real person is behind it. That keeps bots and fake accounts out, so rankings, ratings and messages come from real people.

Is STAND on Android or the web?

No. STAND is an iPhone app. standrank.com shows public rankings and profiles, without sign-in.

Can I buy AURA or a higher Level?

AURA cannot be bought; members send it. Men's SWAY grows with SWAY packages bought in the app, and Level follows from SWAY or AURA.

How long does a Moment stay up?

A Moment is live for one hour. You can remove it at any time in Settings → STAND → MOMENTS.

Who can I message?

You can start a conversation with members at your Level or below. Anyone can reply to a message they received.

How do I change my city?

Go to Settings → ACCOUNT → EDIT PROFILE, set COUNTRY, CITY and DISTRICT, then tap SAVE. STAND never uses GPS.

Is my rating anonymous?

Yes, if you rate without a comment: only your Level is shown. With a comment, your name and your rating are public.

How do I get the blue check?

Go to Settings → ACCOUNT → VERIFY YOUR PROFILE: a photo of your ID document and a live selfie, reviewed by a person and deleted after the decision.

How do I report or block someone?

Open the ⋯ menu on their profile, post, Moment, comment or conversation and choose Report or Block.

How do I stop STAND from using AI on my content?

Go to Settings → MORE → PRIVACY & DATA and switch off ALLOW STAND AI (OPENAI).

How do I change the app language?

Go to Settings → MORE → LANGUAGE. STAND is available in English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Arabic.

How do I contact STAND?

Write to team@standrank.com, or use Settings → MORE → SUPPORT in the app.

Still stuck? Write to team@standrank.com.
